By Press Release, The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation
The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation is driven by a passionate belief that we all have a responsibility for each other during the most troublesome times. Our vision is through community outreach and the ethos of The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation, the elderly will be supported, the youth will be educated, the hungry will be fed, the unclothed will be covered, and the impoverished will be restored. Therefore, the Carolyn E. Parker Foundation, serving as mentors and role models in personal, social and spiritual development, is focused on transforming lives by providing resources and offering much needed care and support to a diverse group of people.
In order for these aspirations to become reality; however, it is essential The Carolyn E. Parker Foundation, Inc. is seen as a non-profit partnership organization, firmly rooted within the life of the wider community, and that whenever possible, people are provided with much needed support. Our mission is to touch the lives of people by bringing lasting and positive change through front line leadership and community partnership and with God’s unconditional love for all.
One of our desired community outreach initiatives, Project Cinderella, is with local middle schools. We are, in confidence, partnering with school principals, and other school administrators to ensure every 8th grade girl desiring to attend the End of the Year Dance is afforded an equal opportunity to attend, in recognition and celebration of her successful middle school experience. Additionally, we host a Cinderella Pageant, in which we recognize and monetarily reward local middle school and high school girls for their talent, fashion style, and environmental awareness.
With that said, the Carolyn E. Parker Foundation donations will go towards Project Cinderella, promoting confidence and providing dresses to well deserving girls for a memorable dance experience. We cannot achieve this without donations and the communities unwavering support.
We are also doing a “Casting Call” for young ladies, grades 6-12 to compete in the First Annual 2014 Middle School & High School Miss Cinderella Pageant. See the flyer above for more details.
